I used my MOXF 6 as a sound card with Cubase. One day, the sound coming from the computar started to fail and sudenly it stopped.
No more sound coming from Cubase or any audio application!!
I tried to reset the keyboard and update the firmware, but still no sound coming from my computer via usb.
I tried to change the usb cable too with no results.
Any clue on what´s going on?

Does it transmit MIDI over USB?
If not, then maybe you need to reinstall the drivers or the USB port in the PC may even be dead. The latter you can check by connecting a mouse of other device there.

Midi via usb works fine. I can even record audio data from a performance in MOFX into Cubase.
I tested it in two diferent computers with their usb ports working properly.
No audio yet.

Nothing obvious like the DAW level been pulled down or similar?
Can you have accidentally done something with the quick setup?

Check the audio port settings inside Cubase itself.

I have had Cubase lose audio port settings in the past more than once...no idea why, but re-entering the settings again fixed it.

It´s not a Cubase problem. I tested in two computers and I got no audio from any DAW and from windows media player.

If by “started to fail”, you mean that it gradually got worse, it may well be a hardware issue.

Have you tried to reinstall YAMAHA Steinberg USB driver or to install the latest version 1.96?
Sometimes if anything similar happens, reinstalling USB driver should help.
