Just read the following about Motif MOX:

MOXF New OS V1.10 update

Main Enhancements

OS V1.10 allows connection to iOS. The MOXF6 and MOXF8 can be used by CC (Class Compliant) .
You can use Stereo Audio In/Out and MIDI In/Out with iPhone and iPad* through Apple’s Lightning - USB Camera Adapter.
Combining the MOXF with an iOS audio application, such as Cloud Audio Recorder, you can get a mobile audio recording solution.

Why is’nt Yamaha providing an OS update sothat the Motif XS becomes also Class Compliant?

The audio interface on the Moxf is USB I think. The xs uses the fw16e FireWire audio interface (purchased separately)

MIDI over USB is class compliant, but only a single port. You need the Yanaha drivers to access all 4 ports.

:o) I have asked the same question before. It is not possible to upgrade the XS.

(I wasn´t actually asking for wifi in this thread, - but anyway)....

I suspect that John M.‘s question was prompted by this:

If so, the issue concerns how the particular software interfaces with the XF. It would seem that’s something the author or distributor should be able to address.
