Hey everyone I would appreciate any help you guys can provide on this.

I have a Motif XS and an MOXF. I want to use 4 faders on the xs to control my sounds in performance mode, and I want to use the other 4 faders to externally control the sounds in performance mode on the moxf. Is this possible? If so can anyone walk me through it? I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Gary

The short answer is NO.

It might be possible with careful programming of Master mode (a Master can contain a Performance) but that is above my pay grade. In Master mode the faders can send CCs to external devices, but unless the MOXF can use CCs to duplicate the fader control in Performance mode you’re still out of luck.

You will have better luck contacting Bad Mister over at the yamahasynth.com forums.
