Has anyone upgraded their Mac to Mavericks 10.9.5?  I can’t see the firewire driver in preferences and am wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
I have the latest Steinberg Driver.

Have you tried reinstalling the latest driver after updating? I seem to remember reading about this issue somewhere…

Not to be obvious (and maybe at the risk of being stupid :-), but this is the MOXF forum and the MOXF does not have FireWire.... If you’re talking about the Steinberg Driver for the MOXF, it is a USB driver that is also capable of audio. Don’t know if that has anything to do with what you are asking…

I realize that I accidentally put it on the MOXF, but there is no way of just moving it to the XF so here we are.  I suppose I could have put up another post, but most of the great help here usually looks at the posts in general from the home page and will answer anyway.

MY BAD!  Somehow the Utility Setting Midi IN/Midi OUT got set to “network” instead of “FW”.  It only takes one slip up. Still a newbie!
