Has anyone upgraded their Mac to Mavericks 10.9.5? I can’t see the firewire driver in preferences and am wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Have you tried reinstalling the latest driver after updating? I seem to remember reading about this issue somewhere…

Yes, I have reinstalled the driver and it is the latest from Steinberg. |

Not to be obvious (and maybe at the risk of being stupid :-), but this is the MOXF forum and the MOXF does not have FireWire.... If you’re talking about the Steinberg Driver for the MOXF, it is a USB driver that is also capable of audio. Don’t know if that has anything to do with what you are asking…

I realize that I accidentally put it on the MOXF, but there is no way of just moving it to the XF so here we are. I suppose I could have put up another post, but most of the great help here usually looks at the posts in general from the home page and will answer anyway. |

MY BAD! Somehow the Utility Setting Midi IN/Midi OUT got set to “network” instead of “FW”. It only takes one slip up. Still a newbie! |
