Hello,

I’m having an issue while trying to export a recorded song into an Audio file. The export process is done, but the resulting file has NO SOUND!!! The tracks are all heard normally while still on Cubase. I can see the meters running fine. The markers are both set correctly (L on the beginning; R on the end). When I select to the exporting file to be also included on the project, it has no sound as well, neither the waveforms.

Could you please give me some light here?

I’m a beginner in all these audio-editing-using-computer stuff. Hope you guys be pacient with me =)

Set up:

MOX6;
Cubase AI;
Windows 7 32bit;
Core i7 2.93 Ghz;
4Gb Ram.

Thanks in advance

PS: Sorry for the poor english

Try this....
Uncheck the Record(red) and Monitor(yellow) when you mix-down.
I see from your last screenshot, audio1 is good to go,
(though nothing is recorded)
but audio2 will produce no sound for the mix-down .
Then you can overlay the second audio mix-down over the first with the same name.
I usually don’t.
I erase the first mix-down with no sound, then start again, keeping it ‘pure’.
(’course, I’ve been told I do everything the most difficult way possible :)

Hope that helps.

In the final screenshot of the Export > Audio Mixdown window, you have not selected any option in the Audio Engine Output area… For example, if you are mixing to stereo you might opt for “Split Channels”.
