I know about the Axxe but are there other guitar libraries? I’ve googled and haven’t found anything. I haven’t tried the Axxe just watched the Youtube videos. Maybe it’s ok, just looking for more resources.

Anyone have some favorites?

Thanks!

Check the sound libraries here at motivator.  I also think that k sounds has some guitar resources available.  Google k sounds

K sounds are pretty much piano from what I could see.  I’m still looking for the sound libraries here on motivator.

I am the author of Axxe. It is the only
electric guitar library made specifically
for the Motif.

Acoustic Steel Guitar is an acoustic
guitar library for the XF.  It requires a
1GB flashboard installed in your XF, as it
is over 700MB in size.

Both Axxe and Acoustic Steel Guitar are
available at the Motifator Shop.

Hi David, thanks for answering! My 11 year old son is the actual player. I’m his tech guy, I suppose. Anyway we are coming from a Korg that had such good guitar patch called the boutique. Actually my sons favorite. On a sustained note it will transition from the played note into what I call feedback. It’s a nice touch. Will any of the aaxe guitars do this?  I was playing with some of the effects on a certain patch but couldn’t quite get it.

Also, will the Axxe fit into user memory as I don’t yet have a flash card?

Thanks!!!

Axxe does not require additional memory, the library uses the basic waveform synthesizer.

Yes there’s a feedback distortion guitar in Axxe, in the User 4 E bank.

In the XF factory voices, try these two:

Preset 3, A03 DualCoilHarmonicsVel
Preset 2 H05 DistortionMute&Harmo;Take a look at how they’re constructed. It would be a good time to start learning how
to program, or at least edit, sounds.

No, Axxe does not require flashboard memory, as 5pin Din pointed out.

I think DavePolich meant Verda Lumo.

BTW, I have AXXE, and if you use power chords in your guitar emulations it really delivers in that department also.

I thought the OP was inquiring of the new guitar effects in V 1.50?

If that was the case, or if anyone is interested, they are very good!

Yes, and I tried to make sure he was aware of them:
