The Velo Growl Legato voice (PRE5 A10) has a tremolo that I’d like to edit and get rid of. But I can’t figure out how. I found the LFO section, but changing things seemed to have no effect. Any pointers?

I am familiar with the VOICE, but have not really analysed it.  That said, there are quite a few acoustic instrument wind and string samples in the Motif that have tremolo as part of the actual played sample.  If this is the case, you will not be able to remove it.

Yes, assuming Michael Trigoboff was referring to vibrato (pitch variation), that’s the case with the Voice in question.
