Don’t let this hurt your head… Off topic I know… But different instruments with different musicians in mind… One not better than another ... Simply different targets.
:-)

And the STAGEA ELS-02C isn’t even the “professional” model ;)

◦ELS-02X Professional model - 1580000 Yen (£9600)

Hmmmm...the Tyros 5 is looking like a deal ;)

That ‘Pro’ model, third on the list, converts to $16,000 THOUSAND
...dollars. :) That’s about 4 XF’s, fully equiped.

I probably should go listen to Tyros again, regardless of my application,
....but my needs are sitting in front of me now!  :-)

Mvm, that track is fantastic, especially on Memorial Day weekend.  Thanks so much!

I decided to keep the XF8. I spent some serious time with it today really scrutinizing the sounds and they are really good. Tyros sounds are better, but that does not diminish how good the XF8 sounds are. Besides, there are many features that are unique to the XF and other different features unique to the Tyros5. So for me the answer is to keep what I have, know and enjoy and at some point also buy the Tyros5-76 for the 2nd tier.

Enjoy the holiday.

A couple of good threads discussing differences between Motif XF and Tyros.

Discussion highlights differences between Tyros “Styles” and Motif “Arps”:
Motif XF arps vs Tyros/Clavinova style accompaniment?

Discussion highlights Motif XA (Expanded Articulation) vs Tyros SA2 (Super Articulation 2):

or, something new that makes a lotta coin for him. :-)
Anything but something serious.
