Motif Classic Voices in Motif ES Voice Editor format

These are files that can be opened by the Motif XS Editor, the Motif-Rack XS Editor, the Motif ES Voice Editor, the Motif-Rack ES Voice Editor, and the MO6/MO8 Voice Editor. They contain PRESET Voices from the original Motif (the so-called, Motif Classic) - your mileage will vary on how they import to the Motif ES/Rack ES, Motif XS/Rack XS or MO6/8 as differences in the synthesizers filters, envelopes, effects etc., can cause the Voices to sound differently from how they sounded in the original synthesizer.

To use these - you will need to UNZIP the file, and then use the EDITOR to “IMPORT” them.

Motif XS or Motif-Rack XS

On the PC you would go to FILE > IMPORT… > Set the “FILES OF TYPE” option so that you set to import “Motif ES6/7/8 & MO6/MO8 Voice Editor files (*.w7e)”

On the Mac you would go to FILE > IMPORT… > Set the “ENABLE” option so that you can access “Motif ES6/7/8 & MO6/MO8 Voice Editor files (*.w7e)”

Motif ES, Motif-Rack ES and MO6/MO8
