Hello,

I am new at using the MM6 and could use a bit of advice.  I would like to know if it is possible to use Cubebase or Sonar and create a midi file in real time asI play the MM6.  Basically, if I press a key on the MM6 will that note
show up in Sonar and program the software as I play and create a MIDI file that I can play back?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Re: MIDI Recording

Yes.

Midi can work like a tape recorder. Press “record” in Sonar, play, then press stop. It will record what you played. It can be saved as a midi file.

Re: MIDI Recording

Thanks for the info...I wasn’t sure if the MM6 worked that way.

Thanks again!
