Hi all. question?  everytime I load samples into my xs everything get distorded like the keyboard is being electrucuted. if i restart everything is ok but no samples is it possiclke the added memory had gone bad ??  thanks where does the new samples get loaded ??

Does this mean that all sounds generated by the Motif XS are distorted, or just the sampled sounds themselves?

Samples are always loaded onto the optional DIMM memory modules. Errors can be introduced by other components in the chain, so the DIMMs themselves may not necessarily be faulty, but they are definitively the easiest components to replace and test.
