can anyone help me find a GX-1 sound for the solo part in the song “All of my Love”? Thanks in advance!

Richie, you’re probably thinking of the Playkeyz 80’s Pop Rock Soundset Vol II String voice (D12) and Solo Brass voice (D13) for All Of My Love.

Thanks so much to both of you! Now I hope they are still in business.
It’s odd Yamaha included several samples of the GX-1 with the 40th Anniversary package included with my white Motif XF, but none of the most famous GX-1 sounds! ( the Stevie Wonder Strings, ELP Fanfare,and Led Zeppelin “All of My Love”.

This was the Soundset included with the 40th Anniversary package if I’m not mistaken. It talks about those sounds, but they are nowhere to be found!

Mate, yes I just checked as I purchased a white XF6 too :)
It’s on the Yamaha USB thumb drive that came in the pack - Data Folder C.
Two files the .pdf and SR Vintage Yamaha.n2.X3A - 519,773KB waveforms in FL1 and voices in User 2.

Were you able to find those led zeppelin sounds on that file? I listened to all the GX-1 sounds, I couldn’t hear anything close.

Sorry, I thought you meant you didn’t have that sound library!!
In regard to the Led Zep sounds, the shop here used to have the 80s Soundsets but I can’t find then now. Both Yamaha Musicsoft and Playkeyz stores have them for sale US$40. Unfortunately though, according to several posts I’ve seen, Rick from Playkeyz isn’t the best in communicating with customers and there were issues with downloads, documentation etc
