Looks like it’s finally time to replace my classic motif6.

What is the best new Yamaha workstation on the market?

And what is the best way to transfer files from the classic motif to the newer keyboard? Can I save whole patterns or do I need to save the midi data track by track?

I realize the sounds won’t translate. Importing the midi data so I can match the patterns with similar sounds on the new synth will have to be good enough.

What do you guys recommend?
