I’ve done some work to pick up where arachsys left off and try to decipher the structure of the data blocks in Yamaha’s YSFC (.X**) file format. Unfortunately I won’t be able to continue work on this project for a while, so I’ve decided to go ahead and share my progress so far in case anyone wants to continue the work or use what’s been found so far.

I have been working with editing a single Part as well as a single Mix Voice within the first pattern of an otherwise blank All Pattern file to start, but I anticipate that much of these parameters will translate fairly easily (to Songs, Performances, and Voices) once the appropriate relative offset is figured out.
