Hi all, Does anyone know (or still care… :-) what the trailing “Of”, “+”, “-”, “St”, “Mn” etc. mean in the names of the waveforms in the MOX Data List (pages 29ff)? Is there a spec of some sort? Thanks, and nice day/evening. Ralph |

Here’s my short list (and maybe erroneous understanding):
St: Stereo
“Offset” means that waveform playback starts after the initial attack, i.e., the start is offset from the beginning. “Of” waveforms are typically used when programming a legato voice. Hope this helps—pj |

Yes. When playing legato, the attack should only be heard with the initial note, and not retriggered with succeeding ones. Using XA Control = “legato”, and “Of” Waveforms, that can be more easily accomplished.
