Hi Everyone,
My first attempt to sample into my Motif 6 Classic....
I recorded a 3 second clip from Performance mode. I’m sure it took as the display was showing the little metronome and said “saving”.
The sample doesn’t show up as a part in the performance.
Any clue which file Motif would put this file in?
Thanks in advance.

Doug

Based on your description, it seems that you set the sampling Source to “resample”. If you did that correctly, the sample will be stored as a User Wave, in optional DIMM (SDRAM) memory. Since SDRAM is volatile memory, the sample will exist there until power to the Motif is turned off. If you want to keep the sample, it will have to be saved to external memory such as a Smart Media card. It can then be reloaded when the Motif is next turned on.

To hear the sample…
If you enter [INTEGRATED SAMPLING] mode, you can Audition what’s currently in memory. You could also go to Voice Edit mode, and select the User Waveform as the Oscillator for an Element.
