Hello.  My MO6 is detuning by itself after some minutes of playing.  Restarting it only works for some minutes, and then it again detunes.  Please let me know if any of you have had this issue, and how you have solved it.

Thanks,
Yoyi

Assuming you don’t have anything connected to it that could cause it, the pitchbend would be the prime suspect. Can you set the pitchbend range to zero to see it stays in tune?

Ok.  I will try that.  Do you know if the pitch bend can be set to 0 for a particular sound or in general?

On the MoXF, and I assume most synths, it will be per voice.
Just setting the range to zero without saving the voice/patch should be enough for a quick test though, regardless of where it’s stored.

For a Voice, set both the Upper and Lower PB range to +0 - see [SF5] OTHER on page 154 of the MO Owner’s Manual.

For a Performance or Song/Pattern Mixing, the Receive Switch setting for PB can be turned off for all Parts. See http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/480102/

It’s never crossed my mind that one could do that!

The ability to determine certain controller influence per-Part via the Receive Switch setting is common to the Motif family (beginning with the Classic model), including your MOXF.

Thanks, although perhaps I’m more like MacGyver than Legend.  ;-)

‘Status: McGyver’, yeah that could work too. :-)
