Do I have to do an upgrade on my MX
To save voices and performances or is it able to
Do this on its own just got the Mx a month ago

The MX can STORE Voices and Performances to its internal memory.
The MX can SAVE all User data to a USB flash drive, in an “All” file.

The capability should be in the OS of any recently purchased MX.
Only an MX with the original OS would need to be updated.
