Hi everyone.
I’m trying to create a new drum kit sampling sounds from another keyboard.
Everything is working, BUT I want that the sample will play for all his length with just one touch, so I don’t have to old the key to listen the complete sample.

Any suggestion?

Thanks for reply.

Max.

OK, found the solution:
Press [VOICE] to Voice mode
Press [EDIT]
Press number button [1] to view the KEY parameters
Touch key to recall your sample
Press [F1] OSCILLATOR
Set Trigger Mode = single _ only one instance of the audio will play
Set Receive Note Off = off _ the entire audio clip can be made to play without holding the key down

You haven’t stated which model you’re using, although your member profile indicates both the Motif ES and XF.

For the Motif XF, see my post in this thread:

Yep, sorry, motif XF.
thanks for reply.

One more question, in this way is working, but I have to go in
SAMPLE.edit and change play mode in -one shot- instead of -loop-.

Is there a way to change that parameter automatically for all samples that I record?

Is there a way to STOP the sample?

I believe that has to be set on a per-sample basis.

You seem to have previously posted information from this thread:
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/468013/
The thread includes how to use Alternate Group to set up a key to stop a sample from playing.
