Hello, I am an owner of the Yamaha MX49 Keyboard. I have had it for about two months now and I just started using it to record.

I’m currently using FL Studio 11 on a Windows 10 Laptop.

The issue I am having is that the rhythm pattern is being recorded along with my piano playing and I don’t know know to make it stop.

Is there a way to take off rhythm pattern completely when connected to a DAW? If not is there a way to stop the data from being recorded in a DAW?

Thanks for all the help in advance!

* Here’s a video of my set-up for more insight

Welcome to the forum.

The procedures for recording MIDI or audio, and whether the Arpeggio data will be recorded, is covered in the MX Reference Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/57924) from pages 22-30. You may find that selecting the correct Quick Setup will resolve the issue.
