i have setup like this
PC>USB>MOXF>MIDI>ExternalModule

i want to use Editor on PC for ExternalModule .. Editor sends MIDI change for parameters but it looks like it doesnt work when MIDI IN/OUT is set to MIDI.. if i set it to USB it wont send MIDI ?

anyone ?

Sorry, but as far as I know (I think it is in the manual too) the MoXF can only use either DIN or USB for MIDI, so you can’t use it as a MIDI interface.

MOXF MIDI set to USB , Ive set in Cubase track out to MOXF device-3 and it is sending via DIN output to external module ... it really works.

That’s interesting, I could’ve sworn that it could only use one interface at the time. I wonder if I’ve always been wrong or if they changed it in an update.

Ah you’re right (of course!).
I’ve never had to use it like that or even the MIDI through port.

This is exactly how you should be using the editor. Have it point to the same MIDI port, done.
