Sorry if this is the wrong section,

When I use that preset for the first time it works (AF1&2;off)
When I active AF1 it works.

But,
when I switch off AF1… NO sound at all!

It is impossible to go back to the “original sound”, it works just with AF1 ON.

What’s wrong?

I checked that Voice on my XF6, and on my XS6 (which has the same Voice) - I’m not experiencing any problem. AF1 is programmed to increase cutoff and resonance, which it does when pressed. When AF1 is pressed again (turned off), cutoff and resonance go back to the original level and the Voice plays as it did before pressing the button.

Do you hear the cutoff and resonance increase when AF1 is first pressed?

Are you playing PRE 3:051(D03) in Voice mode, or as a Part in a Performance, Song, etc.?

Do you have anything connected via MIDI (5-pin, USB, or FW)?

I’m in Voice mode, using preset.
It happen even on PRE3 :059(D11) or with PRE3 :052(D04)

I just press AF1 and I hear the cut off and resonance increased, but when I switch off AF1… NO sound.
Nothing connected.

My firmware is 1.12

PS the problem is in all sounds!! I switched off and on.the motif but the problem is still here!!
Before was working, only difference I loaded samples on flash.
Please, help.

Your OS version is very old - 1.12 was the first update after 1.00. The current version is 1.50. I don’t know if that has anything to do with what you’re experiencing, but there have been many fixes and new features added in versions 1.20, 1.30, 1.40, and 1.50.

The first thing I would suggest is to save an “All” file with samples. If you have a lot of samples installed on the flash modules, that can take quite a while, so be patient.

Next, I’d do a factory reset, and see if the problem is resolved. If it is, there probably was a system setting that got changed when you loaded the samples.

I would also suggest that you update the OS. You can go directly from 1.12 to 1.50 - be sure to read the Readme file that comes with the download.

Here’s a way that can happen…
Press [UTILITY]
Press [F5](Control)
Press [SF5](Control)
Set A. Function 1 Control No. to 11 Expression Controller

The default setting for AF1 is CC#86.
