Hi all,

I am new to the Motif series but have been working with samplers (Akai/EMU) for years. I have just purchased John Melas tools and started playing with importing samples into the Motif.
What is the best practice?
- Make the samples complex with multiple samples, detuning and and create stereo feeling, etc etc at that level, or?
- Setup multiple simple samples and use the 8 elements in the voice structure to create more complex sounds, stereo widening etc, seems more flexible?
- Something completely different?

I would also like to find some people that experience of programming the Motif to use as sounding board.

BR,
M
