Brand spanking new to the MOXF. PG 36 in owners manual says to transpose in performance mode…
choose perf and part. press edit (I assume the “Edit/Compare button)
then it says press f4 tone button. My F4 is USB I/o I cannot find the “Tone” button under any catagory. Pulling hair out. Help. maybe step by step for dummies?

Once you press EDIT, you must then press the appropriate PART button (1-4) to choose the PART you wish to EDIT.

1 Press the [EDIT] button in the Performance mode.
2 Press the Number [1] – [4] button corresponding to the
Part you wish to edit.

3 Press the [F4] TONE button.
4 Press the [SF1] TUNE button.
5 Change the NoteShift value to adjust the pitch.
6 After completing editing, press the [EXIT] button to
return to the Performance Play display.

BTW, do you also have the MOXF Reference Manual?

You can download it Here.

I’m sorry, don’t mean to sound stupid but when I am in Perform mode and hit the Edit/compare button it goes to a screen with the name of the performance, Catagories, then on the bottom I have on top line, Name, Plymode, EQOFS, Porta, Other, Char
bottom line General, Out/mfx, MEQ, USB IO, A/ Din, Effect.

Yes, I have looked at the manuals, which say the same thing so I must be doing something terribly wrong but have no idea what it is.

1 turn on kb
2. hit Perform
3. Select part select A2 (user 1)
4. hit Edit/compare button....then get what I described above.

When you press the EDIT button, I am guessing that the COMMON button is also lit.

If it is, this means you are in COMMON EDIT.

You then must get into PART EDIT.  You must press a PART button 1-4 (as pointed out above) to get into PART EDIT...for the PART number you would like to modify the pitch on.

The PART buttons are numbered 1-16, but only numbers 1-4 apply to a PERFORMANCE.
