I decided to inquire with my point of pre-sale engineer which informed me that the current ETA on my Montage is the end of May. I’m in the US. Well, technically that’s still in May but on the wrong end of it.

Anyone hearing otherwise?

According to my rep in Canada the estimated date is June, more likely July.

Price of the Montage 88 expected to be $5,000 + 13% tax.

I was told by Sweetwater Sales, that they are expecting them to begin shipping in June. (hopefully early June).

Is this as of Monday 4/18? I was the first to pre-order with them in February and May has always been the first wave of early pre-orders. Still was as of Monday but nobody knows for certain. If I get one early I will sell it to you for 10K.

I did receive a positive confirmation finally. My guy has definitely narrowed it down to this year, 2016.

Sweetwater website says “May 6th” and my Canada sale-rep was saying to me end-of-May.

Heard something about on May 2 the Montage 8s will arrive in a small quantity.

“End of May” from Sweetwater, until then the reference manual and data list are being subsumed into my being.

I’m still hoping my pre-order arrives on May 2nd and ships out to me next week. There are many ETAs ranging from May and into the fall on the Montage.

IT’S MAY!!!!!!!!  Please document any sightings of a Montage in your local stores on display or for purchase. How does that work anyhow? I assume that the pre-sales eat-up the floor demo units until a surplus is reached.

I pre-ordered in Jan during Winter NAMM, so I am hoping I am near the top of the queue.

First public firmware update is available (1.10) so it looks like Montage is “in the chute” ready to launch.

Yes, I noticed a new firmware Ver. 1.10 was released for the Montage.

Looking forward to receive my Montage 7 during June, or early July.

- From the Performance Play (Home) display, you can now view Part types and categories of each Part.

- Performance Merge function has been added.

- Fixed the problem in which a user waveform would be lost when loading libraries exceeding the sample memory size.
- Fixed the problem of long load times when loading large samples.
- Fixed the error in saving a Song as a MIDI file when the Song name contained illegal characters.
- Fixed other minor problems.

Overhere in Europe seems only the demo models arive in stores early May, delivery of new bought units might even be June…

The Montage 8 is available and in stock at Sweetwater today.

Yep! Perhaps the 7 is not far behind......

My Long and McQuade rep (Ontario, Canada) told me that they are now showing as available in their “out West” stores.
