Hi, Doing a 70s & 80s show trying to find that synth voice on Croc Rock.
Tried the “Farfisa Compact” voice from from the vintage keys library, but can’t tweek it in like they did, not even close. (I’ve read that’s what they used back in the day on the studio recording)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,

The Farfisa was used on the opening riff and the synth riff that comes in on “na na na, etc” is a slightly detuned Mini-Moog (or something similar)

For the Farfisa, if you don’t like the sound of the Vintage Keys preset, try some of the of the other tube organ sounds in the Organ category.

For the Moog, search through the Synth lead category, or try some of the excellent Moog Voices in the Vintage keys library. The Classic Moog sound would work well or the Odyssey Ramp might sound good as well.
