Hello all!

I have an Mox8, and for some reason today, it has stopped responding to keys being played on the keyboard itself. The meters on it aren’t showing any signal, even with the faders up.

It started when I changed the audio and MIDI configuration briefly to the Setup 1 “DAW Rec” in Quick Setup for it to talk to my DAW. When I changed it back, it worked fine. Now I’ve turned it back on again, and the keys won’t respond again, and changing the configuration isn’t doing anything. I’ve tried restarting it also. I hope I don’t have some sort of short in it?

EDIT: I’ve restarted my computer also (With the keyboard being turned on first, of course), and it is able to respond to the keys being played via MIDI (on the Mox6/Mox8 Editor, I can see the keys responding), but there is still no audio sounds or signal.

It’s likely to be a setup problem.

Press [UTILITY] > [F6]MIDI > [SF2]SWITCH
Make sure LocalCtrl(Local Control) is set to ”on”.
See the MOX Reference Manual, page 149 specifically (and Utility Mode beginning on page 141) for details.

Be sure to STORE any Utility changes you want to keep.

Thank you very much! Everything is in working order now! :)
