Hello all - it’s amazing how a few months for me can allow me to forget so much of this machine (XF6)

XF6 as tone unit, with 88 key controller set to ch1

I want to be able to have strings only on the xf, and trigger rhodes from the 88 key - but then be able to bring in a piano patch over the top of the rhodes which can be either turned on or faded up

Currently I’m in master mode with a song mix and can separate out the strings on the xf6 with the pno and rhodes on the bottom - both sounds are playing together.  They’re both on the same channel so the fader controls both without allowing me any individual control.

I’m probably missing something wonderfully obvious, or asking for something that can’t be done.

Any help much appreciated.

Can the 88 key controller’s MIDI channel be easily changed?

How many Parts are being used in the Song Mixing? Just three?
