I was wondering if anyone could show me or instruct me how I can properly control my Motif ES6 with a bigger 88 key keyboard such as a midi controller. For example, next month I will be using a Korg Krome 88 Key and want to connect it with my Motif ES6. So would I just connect the two boards with a midi cable?

Yes, Korg MIDI out to ES MIDI in.

The Korg MIDI transmit channel must match the ES MIDI input channel.
