Hi everyone…
I recently changed from a Motif Rack-XS to MOXF8… I unboxed the MOX8F this weekend.
Can you tell me how to “setup” the MOXF8 Editor?  No matter what instrument I select in the editor, the MOXF8 plays the sound selected in the front panel.

Thank you in advance
Pierre

Have you made sure the editor shows ‘online’?

You will need to sync the Editor with your synth.  I am not near things at the moment, but you should see a checkbox that says “Offline”.  You want to click that and get it into “Online” mode (as zpink stated).

When you click the checkbox, I believe it opens a dialog where you set up the sync.  There are arrows pointing the direction of sync (computer -> synth and computer <- synth).  You want the arrows to point from the synth to the computer.  Then click the Sync button.  It will take some time to move all the data across.  Your MOXF8 display should let you know it is transferring data.  Once sync’d you should be good to go.

If you can’t get the editor to go “ONLINE”:
Which version of the USB driver did you install?
Which version of the Editor did you install?

Editor = MOXF6/MOXF8 Editor Ver 1.6.3
