Hi all!
I cant get my iPad4 to respond to midi sent from my MOX6 ‘To Host’ port via a USB A-B cable and ‘USB-to-lightning’ adapter.
The ‘To host’ port on my MOX6 is obviously working as I have no problems to play instruments in Garageband and Logic on my MacBookPro with same USB cable.
Anyone have any ideas why iPad is not responding on MOX USB-midi?
Best Regards

To plug the mox into a computer you have to install the driver first. Did you install a driver on the ipad? The 710 works on the ipad? |

iPad works with ‘USB to host’ from all my other keys, PSR-S, NORD 4D, Axiom, etc but not with MOX. I don’t think iPad require any driver for this purpose at least i havent install any.
Has anyone on this group manage to play an iPad app from MOX via To host and a USB - Lightning adapter? Aulis G |

Aulis G,
I use my MOX with an iPad3 and it does not require any special driver.
Your connection using the Host port and the USB Lightning adapter sounds to be correct, but I’m not sure the iPad4 Operating System is compatible. |

I am running iOS 8.1 and don’t plan to upgrade yet. |
