I have the flash extension installed in my moxf and I want it to play a sample that’s about 10 seconds long when pressing a key. That all works and the sample plays fine when I press a key that triggers the sample. However, if I lift my finger off of the keyboard the sample will stop. Is there a way to configure it so that the sample would play till the end even when I lift my hand from the keyboard? |

I am guessing you have the sample associated with a specific Drum VOICE Key. In Drum VOICE Edit [Key Edit], you want to set the AEG Decay2Time...of the Key where the sample is assigned...to ”hold” (the settings are: 0-126, hold) This allows a sample to play completely through without being required to keep the key held down, as the AEG signal will not die out with the “hold” setting enabled. Key Edit starts on page 48 of the MOXF Reference Manual, and the AEG Decay settings are discussed on page 51. |

I actually imported the .wav file as a ‘regular’ sample, not as drum sample. I tried to import it as a drum sound but Moxf does not play it. The only way to make it play seems to be to import it as a normal sample. I wonder if the reason why it is not playing if imported as drum sample is because it is too large. The size of the .wav is about 350 KB. Does anyone know if there’s a limit on how big a drum sample can be? |

You should not have a problem LOADING that as a 1-shot loop in your MOXF. See MOXF Flash Guide, which is also referenced in This Thread. |
