anybody else use Logic Pro X with their MOXF, when recording audio from the MOXF into Logic audio glitching happens, it’s like a little click every so often, I’ve tried altering the audio buffer size in Logic but this appears to have no effect, any ideas! |

How regular is the glitching? is it random or is it exactly spaced? I’d take a guess that you have a clocking problem. |

Hi Phil Thanks for the reply, I think I’ve sorted it out, it looks like it was down to and aggregate audio device, for some reason the audio levels were set to max on the second device the MOXF level were fine. I think this had cured it, but if not I look at the clocking issue that you suggest. Many Thanks |

No worries, glad you think you’ve found the problem. If you’re just using a MOXF with Logic and using the MOXF as your interface, there’s not much that can go wrong. If the problem persists, the panel of info for the MOXF (or any other interface) in your Audio MIDI Set Up Utility will have a ‘clock source’ tab, make sure you set it to internal, and beyond that, you might want to swap your USB cable. Bad or damaged cables are a very common cause of that kind of problem. |
