Hello guys,
Maybe this question is a bit general, but a while ago I faced this problem:
I wanted to play 2 chords in sequence.
For each of them I used the cutoff effect and midi vol parameter in Cubase.
So the aim is they will be like:
(Measure - Chord with normal frequency, cutoff and silenced -> Next chord)
| ----\_ | ----\_ |
The problem is that when the 2nd chords gets played, the first chord
gets played automatically (the rest of the first chord).
The reason is that the volume and the cutoff effect must
be changed to default because of the 2nd chord, which is being played.
And this lets the 1st chord “resurrect” automatically.
To avoid such cases, is it only necessary to choose the correct reverb?
Or is there some extra command to “kill” a sound immediatelly?
So if I play | ----\_ | and change the midi vol + cutoff, there must not be heard any rest of the 1st chord.
I hope I explained it well.
If not, I will try it better.
Thank you for any help!
