I am a church musician, and what I would like to do is be able to control the volume of 4 or more layers at once...so I can fade in and out of different sounds.

Currently I use the Multi mode, and set a different channel to each part, however my controller keyboard only provides 2 channels at once dual layer.

I do have many assignable sliders (CME 49 keyboard).

Is there a way to assign a MIDI CC to either the Parts of a Multi, or a Performance with in the motif?

Do you consider using a pedal? If it is set to CC7 on each MIDI channel you want to control, than by pressing pedal you could control volume on all channels.
