Have u also noticed that when u play the higher notes on a piano sound that the release is extremely long?

Sometimes it can be useful, but most of the time it’s just annoying.

Is there a way to shorten the release on those particular notes?

Btw: It’s the same on the MOX6.

Sorry for the delay, unexpected visitor.

You can experiment with changing the release time of the AEG for the affected elements in the range of G#5 to G8. Typically elements 3,5,and 7. Note the release time of adjacent elements in a lower range. I’d bypass the effects while doing this, to hear more clearly.  I’m not sure this is what you’re after, post back if it is not satisfactory.
