Thinking of getting an MX. I have a question about it.

Would I be able to send MIDI to control the sequencer in the QY, but then have the MIDI on the QY’s channels come back out to trigger the tone generator in the MX?

basically, use it as a controller ( using local control: OFF ) but also use it as a tone generator which the QY would control?

I’ve never really used a QY in this manner, having a MIDI in and out going to and from a controller which is also a tone generator.

This might be a cheaper way for me to have Motif sounds with out needing to get a MOX, and would utilize what I own right now, the QY.

If anyone can help me determine this, that would help.
