I have installed the latest usb driver/extensions/studio manager. I can’t get anything out of it. I go to device set up and it will only show built in asio driver and not the stein berg usb driver. It shows Motif xs ‘not connected’ in the left panel. I have Mac os operating system. What have I overlooked?

It’s hard to say…

Have a nose around in your Audio MIDI Setup Utility.

Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup Utility

It’s the audio ‘main brain’ in Mac OSX and you will be able to examine everything that is installed

There are only two possible scenarios then:

1 - You haven’t installed the right driver.

2 - You have a problem with the connection/cable.

There is a third too, both 1 and 2.
