Hi everyone,
I am an old Yamaha addicted (my original 1986 DX7 is still there, alive and kicking). I recently added a Motif XF7 to my rig and I have been a “silent” reader of this great Forum since then. Your tips helped me a lot and apparently time has come for me to ask a question.

Apologies if it isn’t new but I couldn’t find an answer in the archive or in the Manuals.

Question: how can I configure knobs, sliders, AF buttons ... to send specific CC Midi mex to an external module? Sometimes I use my Motif Xf7 as a midi controller of a Roland Integra7 module and I need to use to turn on or off the Strum mode of a guitar sound on the Integra7 for example. Or to use for harmonic overtones. Or to use CC16 on a knob to adjust the volume of the playing noise.

Thanks in advance for your support!

Welcome to the forum.

Although written for the XS, this support article should almost completely apply to the XF:
