Michael Wilcox posted about this in his Email newsletter. Looks like some kind of Yamaha 40th anniversary promotional.  Anyone know what’s in it? How do you get it?

I don’t see the “Premium Pack” for the MX listed on that page, just the MX gig bag promotion.

I emailed Yamaha support, maybe they will explain.

Heard back from Yamaha support.

here is the email:

“That may be a leak of a future promo we’ve yet to announce, but if it is, it’s not active at this time. I’d keep an eye out for future press releases from Yamaha to see when/if that promo actually materializes, and what the requirements would be to redeem it.”

here is the email:

In Yamaha’s Music Production Guide, Issue 2014 #4, it mentions the MX Promotion Pack (looks like the MX Premium Pack but with USB cable instead of a MIDI cable), but no word on how or where to get it.
