I’m trying to connect my MOXF6 to iPad2 using iRig midi For the “Yamaha Multi editor essential” Application. Once I touch the “RECEIVE” Button the “RECEIVING” message was popping up. For a while, the “Time out error” Message was shown up.

(I selected the MIDI Type “cable”.)

PS. I can use this connectivity with another application such as “Performance editor”, “Voice Editor”
Just “Multi Editor” that has a problem.

How can I success the connection? TT TT

No, there is no problem at all with the App. The Yamaha iPad MultiEditor only works in SONG/PATTERN/MIX modes.

As you can see from the main screen, it is showing 16 Parts. Well, the SONG/PATTERN/MIX modes are the only ones that allow for 16 Parts to be controlled.

I think you should leave the title of the post to something more informative than (problem solved thank you) so we understand what it is about.

That is an excellent point wizardgraphics.  Although the first 50% of focus for the Forum is to help solve the OP’s immediate issues, sometimes posters forget that the second 50% is to provide searchable content that may help someone with the same...or similar...issues in the future.
