Thank you for posting this! I would have liked much more that they include an improved Leslie-Simulation than new reverbs and Guitar Efx, though.

All the best, :)

Jo

XF OS Version 1.50 download:
http://download.yamaha.com/file/61410

File with 32 new Voices and 8 Performances that use new effects in OS V1.50:
http://download.yamaha.com/file/61405

The Readme PDF for the Voices/Performances doesn’t say so, but the Performances load by default to USER 2.

I’m curious about what that means also.

Thanks, Yamaha!!!

I suspect these new effects, voices, and performances weren’t developed solely for the XF.  :)

Good news. But there is no reference to a compatible Cubase 7.5, about which the documentation says editor updates (● MOTIF XF Editor V1.6.3 for Win / Mac (compatible with Cubase 7.5) seems to be laid later.

Thanks musicadi for the announcement and 5pinDIN for the links!

Couldn’t find the link for downloading MOTIF XF Editor V1.6.3 though. Guess this has not yet been released.

EDIT: Found the download links on the US site. Nevermind!

Now we are waiting for John Melas to update Voice Editor! :)

I’m now waiting for the work day to end so I could test new stuff at home. Well, it’s good that they made new reverbs as the ones currently on board I found lacking density. Guitar amps were ok but new ones are nice to have too. For the future, they could add some updated leslie and more smoother sounding chorus IMHO.

Does it show new effects when editing voices? From my understanding these should be built in the software. Anyway I have not tried it yet.

Thats Yamaha’s own editor, but even this one was updated. I was talking about these tools: http://www.jmelas.gr/motif/products.php :)
