I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong, but when I select a patch on the motif (from the app) whenever I enter the keyboard view the app seems to send the initial patch, so that the motif receives an unwanted patch change.
Would be also nice that the app remembers the motif patch being used when entering the browser again.

Also when I use an external keyboard the app doesn’t send the midi to the selected external output, only the internal synth gets the midi, is there something I’m missing? Should be at least an option.

This is a pretty cool sequencer, creating your own patterns is fairly easy, great for live use as well.

You seem to be missing that the app is designed to be used as a stand alone application. Of course you can output its data to any external device. Perhaps you should go mobile!

Walk away from your Motif-Rack XS, learn to use the app, then when you have completed a composition ( while learning the ins and outs of the app) then try exporting the data so you can use it with the Rack XS…

If you try it that way, I think you will get a better understanding that the app is unaware of what external device you connect it to… It works with its own sounds, and is designed that way. Then I think you will better understand how you can relate your work to your Rack XS.
