A friend is letting me borrow his Motif 6 (oldest version). He only knows the basics of how to work it. Im trying to find out how to edit the sound while in Pattern/ Song mode. I know you can change a few parameters, but I’m trying to find out how to tweak the LFO’s and the elements like you can in Voice mode.

Any time I switch to the Voice mode from the Pattern/ Song mode its a different sound then what was originally selected. PLEASE HELP!!!!

The ability to fully edit Voices from within the SONG/PATTERN MIXING mode was not introduced into the Motif-series until 2003 in the Motif ES. You are just a little to far back in the past.

Any time I switch to the Voice mode from the Pattern/ Song mode its a different sound then what was originally selected.

You must locate the VOICE by its Bank and Number, Edit it, then STORE the edited version to a USER bank location.

Finally return to your SONG/PATTERN MIXING setup - and then select your edited USER Voice location.
