So I picked up Antares Auto Tune EVO and an iLok.  I’ve got the license and all that registered and on the iLok.  But when I run Cubase it crashes as soon as it tries to load the plugin.  I’m not sure if it is a problem with the plugin or a problem with the iLok, but I’ve tried reinstalling both and same thing, it just crashes everytime it tries to load that plugin.

Any ideas?

Provided Cubase is working fine otherwise, please consider contacting the manufacturer of your plug-in for support. Also you didn’t mention which version of Cubase you are using, so no one can suggest if the plug-in should be compatible with ‘Cubase’ or not. Provided your license is showing correctly on your iLok and you can log in at the Pace site and sync your iLok then you can probably just focus on the plug-in.Steinberg can’t fix problems caused by Antares and vice versa.....................frank

Does Antares have any support?  They seem to be trying to hide it on their website if it’s there somewhere?

Hmm so using the same CDs and version of windows I can install everything on my desktop and get it all working.  Now I really have NO idea what the problem is.  I just took everything off the laptop and reinstalled and still absolutely no luck. :(

That is indeed frustrating. It suggests then that it could be a hardware problem or something that’s obviously different about your laptop. I suggest you’ll need to continue to investigate if you want to find an answer. You verified that everything works using a similar setup so that’s definitely reassuring for you, so you can focus on the laptop itself.
I have only ever purchased one Antares product and that was a long time ago, so can’t comment here on whether or not they have Tech Support. In any case, I believe the plug-in you purchased has been around a long time, and Antares or your dealer would be the place to seek support. It’s not really anything to do with Steinberg or Cubase...................frank
