Going to work on the other parts as the DAW mode section sysex is undocumented and I’m having some issues figuring it out.

DAW page updated and now loads preset data and cc’s are editable, working on names and changing between Remote and CC mode.

If you haven’t found it already, there is quite a bit of undocumented sysex for the MOXF that has been documented here.

Thanks for this effort to give us an opensource software to manage the MOXF.
One question and one request (I didn’t try anything yet with my MOXF, but will do ASAP):
- am I wrong or in the image you posted I see the menu Master twice?
- are you planning to implement some librarian capabilities?

Working on it Librarian is definitely on the list. Still looking for contributors.

WebApp added for desktop and mobile, you will now be prompted to “Install to Desktop” which allows offline use on all platforms. All you have to do is go to the site and you will be prompted after approx 30s. This is a chrome limitation, I can’t get it to ask immediately.

Excellent work! I don’t have a MOXF to try this with, but I just love to see open source third party development being done for Yamaha synthesizers. Major props.

Librarian Feature Request? I’m looking for a way to archive my sounds in a central library.

What I want is described perfectly in the article “Adding Voice Libraries to Cubase as VST PRESETS” at https://www.yamahasynth.com/motifxf-category/adding-voice-libraries-to-cubase-as-vst-presets
but that article is for the Motif XF and I have a MOXF8. Everything works except the crucial step that says “You can change the TYPE of File (extension) that you are looking for (context sensitive) - the default is an EDITOR file (.X3E), change to File Type = (.X3A)”

I’m using Cubase 10 Elements and the VST editor for MOXF, and there is no option to change the type of file. The only option shown is .X3E.

I’m a newbie, so I don’t know if I’m overlooking something obvious here, because surely there’s a way to do this! You said you were working on a Librarian function, so I don’t know if that will address this issue.

Does anyone know of an existing method of achieving this or do I need to create a feature request?

Now has librarian features, you can switch modes and select voice, song, perf, master, mix, pattern from librarian page. Sorry for the big delay between posts.

Librarian now pulls names from MOXF, clicking 1 selects it on the MOXF and loads the name, sync button pulls the whole selected bank.
