I’m trying to save my settings onto a USB such that when I use another Motif XS not equipped with DIMM I can use all my settings and not encounter the dreaded Sample Memory Full error. I was thinking, if I deleted the samples I had created, and saved new XOA files onto USB that just use the basic voices from the Motif (with some modifications) I should be able to accomplish this. Does that sound correct? If so, how would I go about locating samples I created and deleting them? Thanks for any help you can provide |

You could start by editing Voices as needed so that they all use built-in (ROM) Waveforms.
Once you’ve done that, use a Sampling Job…
After that I suggest verifying that all your Voices sound correct. Then save an “All"/.X0A file, and reload that file to make sure everything works as planned. Since you don’t want to find out that the file didn’t make it to some remote gig, save it to two different USB drives, so that one can go in luggage and another in your pocket. |
