Hi,
I have Macbook Pro and am trying to connect my Motif XS with Firewire 400.
I have a thunderbolt /firewire adaptor but it’s for Firewire 800.

Would a firewire 400 to Firewire 800 cable or adaptor actually work efficiently ?

I also have UA Apollo Twin but it is also got Firewire 800 ...Would a 400 to 800 cable work through that ?

A FireWire 800/400 9-pin to 6-pin cable should do the trick.
