Hi all

Can anyone explain why I’m getting a sample full message when trying to install sound packs when I have more than enough space left on my flash? Is this message directly related to flash memory available?

There are also other limiting “numbers” that must be considered.

From This Site:

”IMPORTANT FLASH NEWS BY THE NUMBERS

Each FLASH board has a theoretical maximum of 2048 Waveforms (be it the FL512M or the FL1024M).

Each FLASH board has a theoretical maximum of 8192 individual Samples (be it the FL512M or the FL1024M).

Both of these statistics are based on the maxim of ‘whichever comes first’. You will be out of memory when the size of the board is exceeded or the number of locations is exceeded, whichever comes first.”

I have an XF, not a MOXF so I can’t give you the precise instructions but you need to go look at the waveforms that are currently installed to see how many are present and if there are any unwanted duplicates. Check your reference manual for how to do this.
