I was wondering if the MLAN for the Motif ES is compatible with Windows 7 ?

The most recent mLAN driver for the ES supports Vista and XP. The most recent USB-MIDI driver does support Windows 7.

I have used it without issues on Win7 SP1 32bit in Cubase 7.5. Regarding FireWire settings, just have to set driver in Windows in Legacy mode prior to mLAN driver installation. Also, User Account Control (UAC) in Win7 should be deactivated. Before starting installation it is recommended to turn off any antivirus program. For security reasons, Internet could be disabled.
During playing ES (I have sold it recently, but without mLAN which I’m now selling separately), one of the best thing for recording is mLAN, esp. if you want to record Motif sounds in high quality while staying in digital domain and/or want to record vocals/guitars via Motif A/D input through its powerful effect processor directly to your DAW.
